How do I RSVP and by when?

We invite you to RSVP online at our wedding website here, under the RSVP tab by January 31, 2026. We also request that you RSVP to both the wedding and the night before sunset sail.

FAQs about transportation, directions, and accommodations

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Our venue's address is 810 Olowalu Village Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761. Once you arrive, you will see signage directing you to the lawn of the location where the ceremony will take place. The reception will be located on site.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

We will be providing shuttle service between Whaler's Village (exact location tbd) and the venue. Ahead of the ceremony, the shuttle will depart at 2:45pm. After the reception, at 9:45pm, a shuttle will transport those who wish to return to the pickup location in Whaler's Village. The shuttle will then take those who wish to attend the after party to that location. After the after party, at 11:45pm, the shuttle will transport guests back to pickup location at Whaler's Village.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

There is parking available for about 30-50 cars if self parking at the venue.

Can we leave our car at the venue overnight if we shouldn't be driving?

Absolutely! Yes you may (and please do). The venue allows overnight parking and asks that all cars be picked up by 10am the following day.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

It is all outdoors! Rain or shine, we will be getting married! Rain storms are *usually* brief and rare on the island of Maui, so we will proceed despite the small chance of inclement weather. Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn of the Olowalu Plantation House. There is a brick paver patio that the cocktail hour and dancing will take place. Paved pathways are limited, so choose your shoes wisely! We recommend block heels or sandals. Stilettos or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended if you value your ankles :)

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

No! Our planner actually discouraged the use of room blocks. Guests will need to arrange accommodations! There are many options on the west side of Maui. We prefer staying in condo/AirBNB style options, however there are plenty of hotels if guests would prefer that type of stay as well.

Will there be a shuttle for the night before welcome dinner sail?

No, we will only be providing guest transportation the day of the ceremony as disclosed above. The welcome dinner sail is with Teralani Sailing Adventures on April 1, 2026! We used this company for a previous snorkel adventure and had an amazing time. Graham and the captain, Patrick, became fast friends and Kayla quickly became the third wheel (lol). The pickup location for the welcome dinner sail will be on the beach in front of Ulu Kitchen at the Westin. The address is Ulu Kitchen The Westin Kaanapali 2365 Kaanapali Pkwy Lahaina, HI 96761. The boats will pick us up at the beach in front of this location. Guests will be required to fill out a waiver prior to boarding the boat and we will post the link once it is given to us.

What is the best airport to use?

Kahului Airport (airport code OGG) is the primary airport on the island of Maui. The drive from the airport to Kaanapali, the side of the island we will be staying on, is about 45-60 minutes. There are all major rental car services available at the airport. Linked is the Ground Transportation options directly from the Kahului Airport website so that guests may find what works best for them for their stay. https://airports.hawaii.gov/ogg/getting-to-from/ground-transportation/ For those staying in Kaanapali area and do not want to rent a car for the entire stay, there is a Hertz rental car option at the Hyatt in Kaanapali and guests can rent the car for the day. The Hyatt is walkable for those staying in the Kaanapali area.

What is beach formal?

Beach formal attire is an elegant yet comfortable dress code that blends traditional formality with the relaxed setting of a beach. For women, this can include floor-length gowns, maxi or midi dresses in light and airy fabrics, and elegant jumpsuits, while men can wear a suit or a linen/seersucker suit with a dress shirt and slacks. No jeans, flip flops, or hawaiian shirts please!

What is white resort wear?

White resort wear for an all-white party involves stylish, breathable clothing like white sundresses, maxi dresses, or flowy skirts for women, and white polos or linen shirts with nice shorts for men, suitable for a beach or outdoor setting. Guys can wear khaki shorts or chino pants. Ultimately we want everyone to be comfortable so don't overthink it. We just love a theme and are glad you are coming!
